سيلفستر ستالون اسمه الحقيقي مايكل سيلفستر انزو ستالون (ولد في 6 يوليو 1946) في نيويورك, الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، هو ممثل ومخرج ومنتج ترشح لجائزة أفضل ممثل رئيسي في مهرجان الأوسكار عن دوره في فيلم روكي عام 1977. اشتهر سيلفستر ستالون بتأدية أدوار الأكشن في أفلامه ومن أشهر هذه الأفلام فيلم روكي بأجزائه الستة ورامبو بأجزائه الخمسة وتانغو وكاش. وقد ظهر في الفترة نفسها التي ظهر فيها ممثلين الأكشن أمثال ستيفن سيغال، تشاك نوريس، آرنولد شوارزنيجر، دولف لندجرين، جين كلود فان دام، بروس ويليس الذين اشتهروا في كثير من أفلام هوليوود خلال فترة نهاية الثمانينات والتسعينات

ولد سلفستر في السادس من يوليو عام 1946 ميلادية في نيويورك من عائلة إيطالية، وله أخ واحد فقط، ومن المصادفات الظريفه أنه ولد في ذات اليوم الذي ولد فيه الرئيس الأمريكي الأسبق جورج دبليو بوش.

نجوميته

سلفستر ستالونى من أشهر نجوم هوليود في الاكشن وهو من أقدم الممثلين في هوليوود وأعلاهم أجراً. بدأ التمثيل في أول فيلم له The party at kitty and stud's أنتج عام 1970 كان دورا صغيرا ولم يحقق نجاحاً كبيراً فيه. اشترك في الكثير من الافلام ما يقارب الثمانيه لكنها لم تحقق نجاح كبير ولكن في سنة 1976 أشترك في فيلم Cannonball وكان هو أول خطواته على طريق البطولة السنمائية.

أما الفيلم الذي ساعده كثير في الحصول على خطوته الكبرى التي حققت له نجاحا باهر وهو روكي ذلك الملاكم الذي كان في تصنيف الهواه وتحداه أحد الابطال ليثبت مهارته لكنه فاز عليه وحقق النجاح الذي اراد ان يصل له رغم اليأس الذي كان يغطي حياته أنتج سنة 1976 حقق أرباح قدرها 117 مليون دولار، انتج منها خمس اجزاء أخرى وحققة نفس النجاح انتجت في السنين التاليه 1979و 1982و 1985و الخامس سنة 1990.

الفيلم الثاني الذي حقق مبيعات ضخمه لسلفستر هو رامبو مع الممثل ريتشارد كرينا الذي لعب دور المدرب لرامبو, أنتج أول فيلم سنة 1982 حقق هذا الفيلم مبيعات 46 مليون دولار وكذلك حققت الاجزاء الأخرى من هذا الفيلم خاصة الجزء الثالث من هذا الفيلم الذي انتج سنة 1988 وحقق 53 مليون دولار.

بعد تلك الافلام أصبحت افلامه تستقطب المشاهدين ولذلك حققت بعض الافلام النجاح مثل فيلم القتله أو Assassins مع أنطونيو بانديراس وفيلم Tango & Cash وفيلم Judge Dredd القاضي دريدد وهناك الكثير والكثير من الافلام الرائعه التي قام بأدائها. سلفستر ستالون تزوج ثلاث مرات لا زال مستمر في الثالثة له من أربعة أولاد.
